Cat Face Killer “Black Church of Synth” — Classic Tee | Jeffery Page & Friends
Services are held wherever the power is on and the room is dark enough.
Black Church of Synth is Cat Face Killer’s 1987 LP — the record where the duo went further into electronic noise, synthesizer horror, and the kind of sound design that the industrial and darkwave scenes would spend the next decade catching up to. CFK got there first. CFK got there weirder. CFK wore cat masks to the pulpit and called it gospel.
The Black Church of Synth has no physical address. Its congregation recognizes each other by the way they look at mainstream music like it’s something that happened to other people. The hymns are distorted. The liturgy is a feedback loop. The collection plate is passed for the liberation of every sound that was too strange to be released, too honest to be promoted, and too real to be forgotten.
This shirt is your pew. The congregation has been expecting you.
All are welcome. Especially those who have been told they are not.
All purchases support the ongoing Cat Face Killer conspiracy and the full creative universe of Jeffery Page & Friends.
