Black Sabbath, N.W.A., Talking Heads, Nirvana, Joy Division, Alice Cooper, Metallica, Black Flag, David Bowie, Slayer, Andre 3000, Rudimentary Peni, Traditional SKA, Garage and Pscyhe 60’s, 70’s guitar driven rock, Curtis Mayfield, some Punk, Some Hip Hop, Doo Wop, 90’s plus a little this and that…

Q: You must have taken LOTS of drugs to come up with the ideas for your paintings. What are you on?
A: It’s not the drugs. It’s the true quest for freedom, curiosity and most likely therapy. It’s also a lot of observation with imagination. Only drugs truly that may be found in my system are Caffeine, Sugar and THC.

Q: How long does it take for you to create a painting?
A:  A Lifetime to seconds and anywhere in between,. What is Art? That is the hardest question. Yet at this point it is what I say it is. In this case this is all honesty.

Q: Where did you get your name “CUEBALL or Q-BALL”?
A:  I once cracked someone over the head with a cueball in a bar fight or in 1995 I fit the profile of the Real Slim Shady. Both seem to be possibly true.I’m sure Ron has a Felony Record about it somewhere.

Q: What role does your Crosses, Love, Faith, and/or Religion play in your artwork?
A: I think the crosses started the story for I was studying Death. The love comes from feeling a void. The Faith came into play as I was looking for answers. The religions came as I found my way. I believe in something and maybe nothing. It is life. It is Death. It is Me. It is You. It is All. Yet it’s not labeled. It is mine. It is a God I suppose of collected civilizations and previous and current knowledge of science and religious beliefs. I call it My Entity of Wisdom. aka Church of M.E.O.W. It’s literally a cult of me and just a belief system gathered from all the positives and true teaching of what I can from the world to think on my own so to speak. It will be released as a self published religious book for my own sharing wisdom to finding peace and the God within you. Truly a summary of my practices to being the best ME. Which in itself is a work of ART. So I truly believe there is any difference for I am an open book and I am one with my ART.

Q:  Can I come to your art studio?
A: It’s top secret. If you know. You know. to truly Get Away with Me you must have a purpose. State that purpose and maybe it will be arranged by the appropriate branches.

Q: Any advice for aspiring artists?
A: Advice is like opinions. Be careful who’s shit you consume. Although if you read above you can dive into my process built upon the shoulders of other greats. Read books. Watch Docs. Be Inspired. Live Your Life. Share Love and Knowledge and through it you’ll find you and your art.

I hope this will answer some of your questions as most answers are completely true with some sarcasm. Have a phenomenal day sincerely your curator Me aka Jeffery Page
