As it will be me trying to share the ideas, feelings, art and more of my worlds. Regardless, it is time for me to get to work on some other projects today for tattoos and painting. ADHD-Friendly Recipe: Chia Pudding Parfait
Anchor Rose Water Tattoo on Derik Envy of Strung Out by Jeffery Page Tattooer (Los Angeles, CA Silverlake California Gold)
Start your day with something sweet that actually keeps your focus in check. Chia seeds are little fiber-packed bombs of omega-3s—great for cognitive function and blood sugar stability.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup mixed berries
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Directions:
Mix chia seeds, almond milk, and vanilla in a jar. Stir well and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours. When ready, layer with berries and a drizzle of honey for that parfait vibe.
Random Plant Fact: Lavender – Nature’s Chill Pill
Lavender isn’t just for your grandma’s perfume. It’s known to help reduce anxiety, promote sleep, and even improve attention span. The scent alone has been shown to calm the nervous system—try a little lavender essential oil before bed or steep dried lavender in tea.
Fact. Last trip to Petaluma I brough back a bag of Lavender Tea from
Petaluma Coffee and Tea.

Neuroscience Nugget: The Prefrontal Cortex—Your Mental CEO
The prefrontal cortex is the brain’s executive command center—it helps with planning, decision-making, impulse control, and focusing attention. In ADHD brains, it tends to be underactive, which is why structure, good sleep, and mental stimulation can help it thrive.
Coffee Recommendation: Cold Brew with a Splash of Macadamia Milk
Cold brew coffee is lower in acidity, easier on the stomach, and offers a smoother caffeine release. Add macadamia milk for a creamy twist—it’s subtle, nutty, and brain-friendly with healthy fats.
Favorite is technically Black Coffee… Good Beans…
Los Angeles Fun Fact: The L.A. River Has Its Own Film Career
The L.A. River—yes, that concrete waterway—has been in Grease, Terminator 2, Drive, and Gone in 60 Seconds. It’s basically the most Hollywood river ever.
Cryptid Corner: The Skunk Ape (Florida)
Florida’s own version of Bigfoot, the Skunk Ape is said to roam the Everglades. Witnesses claim it’s over 7 feet tall, covered in reddish-brown fur, and—true to its name—smells terrible. Sightings date back decades, and while skeptics chalk it up to escaped apes or hallucinations in the swamp heat, others swear they’ve seen it with their own eyes. One thing’s for sure: it keeps the legend (and the tourism) alive.
