Hello Friends and Fiends
Today Monday, May 12th, 20025
I’d love to share more photos of what I am working on however bare with me as I have been busy. So busy in fact I took a 2 hour nap. Had a busy weekend by working on a Bigfoot Back Piece on Josh. It’s been cool seeing some of his projects including a Ducks sole to a Vans shoe. I guess he might be flying a drone on tour this summer for a band which should be cool. Also got to work on John’s additions to a medieval sleeve. That was Saturday at The Queen’s Head Parlor in K-Town. It was proceeded by a concert at the Long Beach Terrace Theatre seeing a good friend of mine Rodney play with the Long Beach Symphony backing Electric Avenue to a sold out benefit show covering 80’s hits like Prince, Duran Duran and even the Boss. It was not too shabby. Met a senator and a great couple Dave and Heather. Heather was a librarian and teacher who was quite interested in my projects which was nice introductions. Sunday was filled with serindiptous moments. As I was tattooing my Homie Johnny GreenGo I asked his 8 year old son Ollie what kind of music does he like? He replied rock.b I asked him what his favorite band was and he ruled “GHOST”. At that moment Stacia a friend of mine texted. She is currently on tour with the Band. He thought that was the coolest which was funny as he drew Jason Vorhees on piece a paper which also was my Mother’s favorite horror movie character in which I was also raised on. Pretty small signs on Mother’s day of how connected we are. Even earlier that day I literally walked into my Sister and her new fiancé on the Beach just randomly. Tomorrow go visit Ed and drop some stuff off at the framer. Even maybe hit up Rodney. Regardless lie is great and only getting better. As this Monday comes to an end and we take this journey together into a new full moon I just want to say goodnight personally and enjoy my new format of sharing. Sincerely with Love Me aka Jeffery
Ps. It will get better. Trust Me

Random Plant Fact: The Mighty Moringa
Ever heard of Moringa oleifera? This plant is sometimes called the “miracle tree”—and for good reason. Moringa leaves are rich in iron, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin C. They’ve been shown to reduce inflammation and improve blood sugar regulation. That means it’s not only good for your body but also your brain—stabilized blood sugar equals stabilized mood and focus.

California Fact: The Golden State’s Hidden Waterfall
Did you know California is home to a “firefall”? No joke! Every February, for a few days, sunlight hits Horsetail Fall in Yosemite just right, making it look like lava is flowing off the cliff. It’s a breathtaking reminder of nature’s illusions.

Neuroscience Nugget: Brain Plasticity is Real (and Awesome)
The brain isn’t fixed—it’s flexible! Neuroplasticity means your brain can rewire itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. That’s how we learn new skills, recover from injury, or even adapt to focus challenges like ADHD. Think of your brain like a muscle—use it wisely, and it’ll grow in amazing ways.

Cryptid Corner: The Beast of Bray Road (Wisconsin)
Though this one’s not from California, the Beast of Bray Road is a classic cryptid from Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Described as a werewolf-like creature, it’s been spotted by terrified drivers and curious locals since the 1980s. Walking upright, covered in fur, and glaring with glowing eyes, the beast allegedly prowls rural roads and fields. Real or not, it’s captured imaginations and even inspired documentaries. So next time you’re driving late at night—keep an eye on the roadside!
