Long Beach, CA — 2025 – Depression Skateboards, the most unapologetically raw skate brand to hit SoCal, launches with a mission: turn struggle into movement.

Founded by two artists—one obsessed with drawing skateboards, the other obsessed with riding them—Depression Skateboards is a product of real-life battles with mental illness. The name isn’t a gimmick. It’s a diagnosis turned declaration. Together, the duo realized that two negatives make a positive, and from that, a movement was born.

“We didn’t want a fake name or fake hype,” said one co-founder. “We wanted the truth. Skateboarding saved us. So we built a company around that truth.”

Each deck is hand-designed, each drop speaks to emotion, and each product from Depression Skateboards is laced with unfiltered energy and Long Beach attitude. The goal isn’t to be big—it’s to be real. Every trick, every fall, every late-night skate session is part of the story.
