Bio: Cat Face Killer
Only a Chosen Few (c.1984) Demo Tape
Cat Face Killer is not a band. It’s a phenomenon, a cosmic warning shot, and a middle finger to censorship—wrapped in chaos and cloaked in feline mystery. Fronted by two masked cat-headed figures known only by their cryptic aliases, CFK crash-landed into America’s consciousness somewhere between the fall of disco and the rise of hardcore. Though their origins are debated—some say Detroit, others swear by LA—most agree these two extraterrestrial enigmas arrived from somewhere near Alpha Centauri, armed with sound systems and a mission to destroy the fascist regime only known as MAMBA.
L.A. Times Punk Rock Concert Clipping
Emerging from the underground ether in 1984 with a now-legendary debut at Hong Kong Café in Los Angeles, Cat Face Killer’s blend of punk, rap, noise, funk, and absurdism became something like a spiritual transmission. The band’s second show in Detroit, at the infamous Iggy’s Swap Meet Auditorium, ended in near riots and marked them as a sonic threat to the establishment.
With 11 genre-obliterating albums under their belts, each more unclassifiable than the last, the duo has remained wildly elusive—cycling through collaborators, personas, and cat masks while leaving behind only distorted bootlegs, banned manifestos, and cult-level demo tapes. They’ve garnered zero mainstream recognition and maximum underground worship. Their discography is considered sacred among crate diggers and cassette cultists alike.
Now, rumors swirl around a new album titled “Isolation Paradise” with “The Greatest Party Hits to follow,” said to include everything from trap metal breakdowns to lo-fi folk noise. No one knows what it will sound like—and that’s precisely the point. Cat Face Killer doesn’t follow trends. They crash through them like a flaming UFO wearing eyeliner.
I will be trying to update this passion project documenting the infamous conspiracy and more information as I track down the infamous Cat Face Killer. The Alien super powers that came here to save the world from the cancel regime. So please, if anyone who has information, Photos, or rumors of Cat Face Killer please email Victoria@JefferyPage.com
