Sink or Swim

We all have problems with our own cycles in life. I had two. 1 was bestowed onto me early on in life which I would would say led to the cause of cycle number 2 which didn't start until I was 21. Which by default when number 1 didn't work out number 2 was an action that was taught to me the wrong way to cope with number 1 failures. The cycle of number 2 I realized in c.2012 which I stopped then. Which I know my closet friends saw. Number 1 was harder to pin point as I repeated that mistake once more soon after that. 44 years later I will be living the life I deserve, want and in all honesty love. Only because I took the time to truly assess my decisions in life. Which is why these cycles will not be repeated.

Today's Thought

Most people don't know how to let go and hold onto baggage like a hoarder. Whether it's something that hurt them in adolescence, into early adulthood or even just yesterday. I guess it's that reason so many have a hard time with life. Instead of learning what weighs them down and letting go they allow it to drown them blaming others for not saving them. I guess that is why you always have to just sink or swim.

The only thing that truly sucks in these scenarios is watching some of those you have loved drown.

Not all people can be rescued from their anchors.

Ps. I can honestly say my two best qualities I have to offer in life are compassion and understanding. Which ironically were also my two worst qualities in life as it was a double edge sword. I was told by one of my best friend's who truly loves me and has known me for at least 2/3 of my life by now that "you treat everyone equal regardless of who they are and eventually only treat people how they treat you." I definitely would say that is the truth.

Hollywood sign is tagged because we all must be aware of the acting we all do. I used to act like I wasn't compassionate to put up a wall to pretend I wasn't hurt. I lived under that sign in the second longest place I've lived in my life. Trust me there was a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing in that town. Liquid lobotomies we're not the answer.
