In 1977, Jeffery Page began his journey in the beautiful city of TorranceCalifornia, a quiet suburb just south of Los Angeles. Spending most of hisformative Years in Southern California, especially the beach cities of Redondo and Hermosa, He developed a love for punk rock, skate culture, tattoos, and good Mexican food. Bands like Black Flag, The Descendants, The
Circle Jerks, and The Misfits buried their way into Jeff’s brain and wouldsurface again later in his art as jobs creating show fliers and bandmerchandise would arise. A love for classic horror movies, Hitchcock,Stephen King, The Twilight Zone, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Scooby Doo also worked its way into Jeff’s artistic sensibilities.

It wasn’t until 2003 that Jeff took his love for tattoos another step
forward and quit his job at White and Day Mortuary to begin his tattooapprenticeship. After a rather short apprenticeship, He seemingly got tossed to the wolves and honed his skills on the walk-ins from the neighborhood.
Soon he was booking appointments and became a sought after tattoo artist in
the area. After three and a half years of running this shop he was given thechance to work at True Tattoo in Hollywood California, where he sets up shop to this day. With an appreciation for the talent at the shop, Jeff learns something new daily and has added many new tools to his belt since he has
been added to their roster. His study of tattoo artists such as Clay Decker, Jason McAffee, Kore Flatmo, Corey Miller, Freddy Corbin, Jeff Rassier, Joe Capobianco, and other tattoo greats has helped him become a well-rounded tattoo artist himself.

Jeff also has a talent for fine art and has displayed his ink drawings, watercolors, and paintings in many group shows around the country. With influences and guidance from friends Alan Forbes, Chris Conn and Greg “Craola” Simkins, he practices his art daily. You may also notice influences such as Raymond Pettibon, Puss Head, Dr. Seuss and Tim Burton creeping in
there from time to time.
